I want to thank you for all of your help with our camper purchase. We were hesitant to make such a large commitment of time and money when we were unable to see the camper in person. Adding to our hesitance was the fact that we knew nothing about Waterdog RV. I was afraid that my husband would call me from Waterdog RV with some sort of complaint; either about the camper or about the people. I am happy to report that I could not have been more wrong. I contacted Tad via an ad I saw on rv trader. They had the Nash 24M marked down below what my dealers in here in No CA were offering. So much so, that we drove 640 miles up to Dayton Oregon to get it. The sales process was pretty straight forward. I made an offer, they accepted, and I gave them a credit card deposit. We setup an appt the following week and the trailer was ready to go. When we arrived at the dealership we were greeted by Sherri and she sent us out to do the walk through. The trailer had just been washed and everything was hooked up to demo the all of the appliances, etc.. In addition to buying the trailer I had John in the service department price out a generator and solar panel setup. The price was better than Camping World and he said he could have it all done by the time we picked up the trailer. Both were expertly installed by Matt and Dean. While we were at the dealership I met with Tom (owner) to do the paperwork and bought the extended warranty that he offered me at RV show price. I don't normally buy extended warranties but it was a great deal and we will be boondocking this trailer quite a bit with an extended trip to Mexico. So we will see how good the warranty is... All in all, one of the smoothest transactions I have done in a long time. Well done WaterDog RV. - Stewart

A 5 star company! We recently purchased a 2014 Forest River Wildwood travel trailer. Being first time owners we had a ton of questions and concerns. We made several trips in trying to make up our minds on what the best fit for us would be. Mike was AWESOME! He was patient and knowledgeable, answering all our questions and giving us great advice on using and maintaining our purchase! The service department did an amazing job of teaching us how to use all the features. They also taught us to trouble shoot in case anything goes wrong on the road and even installed our new hitch while we waited! (Owner) Tom helped us get all our financing worked out, so we left with a trailer and a great interest rate! Thanks Tom! The whole staff made this a great experience, especially for our 3 year old daughter who was along at each visit. This crew knows the meaning of customer service!! I will start by saying that I despise car shopping because of the pushy car salesmen and I assumed it would be that way for RV/Trailer shopping (and it was) until we arrived at WaterDog. Tad changed my opinion, he followed through on everything we talked about before and after purchase. When we went to pick up the trailer, he set us up with Matt, who was very knowledgeable, answered all of our questions, and gave us tips about the trailer. Then on to the necessities with Mike, making sure we had everything needed for our new adventures ( I so love the poopy tabs instead of the jug of goo for the toilet cleaning)! We enjoyed every aspect of this company, in these days it is hard to find a company that puts the customer first. The most important thing I can say is . . . Try these guys out if you are in the market for a RV because if they can win my husband over they are running a tight ship! Very professional, yet friendly. We special ordered an Arctic Fox Travel Trailer from these guys. It was delivered on time and exactly as ordered. Tad Harrington was our sales person and kept us updated on the process and was a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend Tad if you are in the market. I did a lot of shopping and research and Waterdog RV gave me a very fair price on this unit. Tom the owner even called to say hi and give me updates. These guys are top notch and understand what customer service is. If you are in the market for an RV give these guys a chance. It will be time well spent. Waterdog RV is a step above all other RV dealerships that I have dealt with! The experience that they delivered to me was well beyond my expectations and has impressed me so much, that I am telling everyone I know how wonderful they were to deal with. My wife and I fell in love with a specific model Nash camp trailer. The original dealership that we were working with sold it out from under us before we could drive the 40 miles and make the deal. Northwood Mfg website listed Waterdog as one of their dealers. I called and Sherri fielded my call inquiring about the specific model. She told me that they were sold out but would check on new ones coming in and get back to me. The very next day Sherri called me back and told me of deal she could give me on a brand new due off assembly line within a few weeks and had all the options we were looking for at a price that was outstanding. We agreed to the deal and moved forward. From that point on Tad and Tom took over with the final details and were exceptional to work with. I was never pressured and always felt like I was their number one customer from the beginning. When I arrived on delivery day, I was greeted and treated in VIP fashion. And by the way instead of traveling 40 miles to get my new trailer, I traveled 180 miles one way and would do it again in a heartbeat!!!! We've been dreaming about buying an RV for years and finally took the plunge with Waterdog RV. Wow...where do I begin? This is the first time we have ever owned a camping trailer. After going to the Portland and Salem RV shows the past two years, we had the good fortune of meeting Tad Harrington. Talk about someone who made us feel welcome, did not exert any pressure and answered all of our questions, plus provide excellent working knowledge of what we were getting into. Tad was incredible! We came out to Waterdog with all of our questions, looked through their inventory, narrowed it down to two camping trailers and then came back two days later and chose the Nash 24M. We couldn't have made a better choice! Tad made us feel comfortable, answered all of our questions and by the time we were done, we felt that we made an informed decision in choosing our trailer. This past weekend was our first time out in it. We had so many positive comments made to us at the campground over our choice. We already were feeling great about it, but if it were more possible, we felt even better after hearing the positive comments from fellow campers. We decided several months ago to upgrade from our super fun and well enjoyed Truck Camper (cab over) to a unit with more space. At first since our initial unit was so small, everything seemed big. But, as we researched and looked around we found that the Arctic Fox 32A was the one that would really meet our long term needs and usage goals. What we discovered, however, was 32A's are not on just every lot, they are really hard to find. We looked all over and couldn't find one close to home, we even considered ordering one though it would be a long wait. But, we kept coming back to the add we saw on Waterdog RV that said they had one on the lot. Other dealer websites said they did too, but when we called them, it had "just sold"... Still, we wanted one sooner than what the wait process would be for ordering one. So, we called Waterdog and spoke with Sherri, to find they did in fact have one on the lot, a new one. Even though the 32A's were hard to come by, they had the best price in the West (no lie) and had even reduced the price more that morning before we called. Sherri was wonderful on the phone and a few days later when we showed up to pick it up (having left sunny CA to arrive in cold, rainy OR) she knew us as soon as we walked through the door(yep, we had shorts on)! Waterdog RV was an amazing experience, friendly, helpful, and they made sure all the paperwork was in good order for the CA DMV. Thank you to Sherri and the Team at Waterdog, we love our RV and now that the snow is melting and the roads are clearing, we are ready to take it to our home away from home and enjoy many years of fun. Oh, and if Sherri recommends staying at the camp ground down the road, do it. The Evergreen Airplane Museum is a must see and has the perfect foot path to the RV Park :-) - Brenda

When we started hunting for a trailer we were pretty overwhelmed by the variety, and had only a vague idea of what might work best for us. We visited almost every dealer in the area, and luckily met up with Sherri, who listened to what we said we were looking for, and made some great suggestions and comments, and got us going in the right direction. We kept looking around, but found that some dealers were only interested in showing us what they wanted to sell, not what we said we were looking for, and others didnt really seem that knowledgeable about their product. We just kept thinking back to what we had seen at Waterdog RV, and knew that the Snow River 246RKS was going to be the one. Mike helped us finalize everything, and more than went the extra mile, finding a problem the truck dealer had messed up while wiring the trailer connection!I can wholeheartedly recommend Waterdog RV, and especially Mike and Sherri (and Matt!) to treat anyone the way you wished every retailer treated their customers. We were a 1st time buyer of a RV and Sherrie made the purchase smooth and easy. We had an idea of what we needed and Sherrie showed us a whole lot of options that centered around our needs. She was very knowledgeable and answered every question we had. We looked at about 8 RV's and after she gave us the run down, she said "take your time and look through them again. Let me know when you are ready." No high pressure sales here, which was really refreshing. When we did our purchase, there were no surprises or any of those little "add ons". The crew that prepped our trailer did an excellent job of meeting our needs and wants and it looked even better than the day we walked thru it. The guy who did our walk thru (sorry forgot his name) walked us thru it and answered every thing we asked. He made sure we knew exactly how to hitch it correctly and adjusted the brake assist for us. My wife and I want to express our thanks to the team at Waterdog RV. We special ordered a Wildwood 27RKSS from the factory, and Mike Hess, our sales rep, helped us make informed decisions about various options. Every option turned out to be something we are glad we chose. Tad, the finance guy, handled the deal quickly and with no surprises. When we went to pick up the trailer, we were given a thorough walk through. The team at Waterdog made sure we were completely comfortable with operating all the features. I was also pleasantly surprised in the parts store. I had researched the basic needs - sewer hose, water hose, etc - and found the prices comparable to other places I had shopped. We left home in Florida on April 11, 2016. We went to New England for family things and then went to St Louis, MO, to begin a 46 day RV Caravan following the Lewis and Clark Trail to Oregon. Along the way our inverter failed. The day after the trip ended our living room slide would not extend. We were coming to McMinnville and had found the information about Waterdog RV. We called, talked with Jeremy and made arrangements to bring it in when we got here on July 5, 2016. Thanks to Dean and Troy the slide was an easy fix and they took care of the paperwork for the extended warranty for the inverter. Thanks to Sherri, Tad and the gang at Waterdog RV! This was our first RV, a NASH 25C. Sherri was very patient as we went back and forth at least 20 times between the 23D and the 25C. Almost exactly the same floorplan with just a couple bunkbeds on the 25C. The price was about the same. Great prices on both NASHs, and we checked everywhere in the NW on the internet first. Everyone was extremely friendly! They helped us pick out the accessories from their store, which had very reasonable prices. Might be up grading sometime in the future and won't not hesitate to buy from you guys! What great experience my wife and I had at Waterdog RV. We bought our first travel trailer. It is a Shadow Cruiser lightweight 22' model 195 WBS. It will fit our needs to a T. We were greeted by Sherri Crabtree, our sales person, and a number of other people who made the experience very smooth and enjoyable. My husband and I were forced into purchasing a new travel trailer after our trailer had gotten totalled. We walked onto the Waterdog RV's lot just to take a look and was warmly welcomed by Sherri. Sherri, Raul and Tad have been excellent in every way. Sherri toured us through the lot last summer when we were looking to buy and even though we didn't jump on anything then, she patiently replied to my many question filled emails and always followed up when I dropped the ball. When it came time where we decided we could buy a Travel Trailer, we checked in to the three dealers that had models we liked, but it was Sherri that made all the difference... nothing was too much trouble and there was no pressure to commit.Raul made the financing easy and got us everything we wanted, again communication and patience was his virtue - our work schedule is not simple and we had backed out of several appointments to sign and collect the Trailer. I met Tad - the owner - as he was working in the store and generally being available to customers. He gave me a tour of their lot and facilities while I waited for Raul one day and I enjoyed listening to him speak on his company and his vision for excellence in all aspects of Waterdog RV.This is not the big dealership with 20 members on a sales team. Tad Harrington was our sales person and kept us updated on the process and was a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend Tad if you are in the market. I did a lot of shopping and research and Waterdog RV gave me a very fair price on this unit. Tom the owner even called to say hi and give me updates. These guys are top notch and understand what customer service is. If you are in the market for an RV give these guys a chance. It will be time well spent. This crew knows the meaning of customer service!! I will start by saying that I despise car shopping because of the pushy car salesmen and I assumed it would be that way for RV/Trailer shopping (and it was) until we arrived at WaterDog. Tad changed my opinion, he followed through on everything we talked about before and after purchase. When we went to pick up the trailer, he set us up with Matt, who was very knowledgeable, answered all of our questions, and gave us tips about the trailer. Then on to the necessities with Mike, making sure we had everything needed for our new adventures ( I so love the poopy tabs instead of the jug of goo for the toilet cleaning)! We enjoyed every aspect of this company, in these days it is hard to find a company that puts the customer first. The most important thing I can say is . . . Try these guys out if you are in the market for a RV because if they can win my husband over they are running a tight ship! When we started hunting for a trailer we were pretty overwhelmed by the variety, and had only a vague idea of what might work best for us. We visited almost every dealer in the area, and luckily met up with Sherri, who listened to what we said we were looking for, and made some great suggestions and comments, and got us going in the right direction. We kept looking around, but found that some dealers were only interested in showing us what they wanted to sell, not what we said we were looking for, and others didnt really seem that knowledgeable about their product. We just kept thinking back to what we had seen at Waterdog RV, and knew that the Snow River 246RKS was going to be the one. Mike helped us finalize everything, and more than went the extra mile, finding a problem the truck dealer had messed up while wiring the trailer connection!

Waterdog RV is a great place to buy a RV! Sherri was beyond helpful in getting us into our new Arctic Fox fifth wheel. We were a 1st time buyer of a RV and Sherrie made the purchase smooth and easy. We had an idea of what we needed and Sherrie showed us a whole lot of options that centered around our needs. She was very knowledgeable and answered every question we had. We looked at about 8 RV's and after she gave us the run down, she said "take your time and look through them again. Let me know when you are ready." No high pressure sales here, which was really refreshing. When we did our purchase, there were no surprises or any of those little "add ons". The crew that prepped our trailer did an excellent job of meeting our needs and wants and it looked even better than the day we walked thru it. The guy who did our walk thru (sorry forgot his name) walked us thru it and answered every thing we asked. He made sure we knew exactly how to hitch it correctly and adjusted the brake assist for us. All in all it was a pleasant experience and I will be making all my future purchases there. - Craig
My wife and I just recently purchased a 2014 pre-owned travel trailer from Waterdog RV. I have got to say these folks are a class act. Raul was outstanding and made our buying experience very enjoyable and fun. We had been shopping for an travel trailer closer to home in the Vancouver and Portland area but made our way to Dayton. The dealers in Vancouver and Portland came no where close to the results we got at Waterdog RV. If you are shopping for an RV these are the people to go see, you want be disappointed - Mike
We were on our way back from the coast when our rear driver side running light got clipped in a parking lot. Had never been to Waterdog RV before but they were on the way home, so we stopped in.
Asked the gentleman filling propane tanks, later to find out that he was the service manager, if they carried the bulb and cover for our running light. He not only told us what aisle in the store but also where on the shelf to find it.
Weve shopped at every RV store in the Portland Metro area and was shocked by the great pricing of goods Waterdog RV had, compared to other RV dealers in our area.
Came out and the service manager asked if I found what we needed. I told him yes and said I wish he could fix the hot water heating issue we were having also, he said he would be right over after he finished.
We love businesses that are friendly provide great pricing and services without gouging their customers, most just dont know what a service-oriented business is about or how it works. We just stop going to the other business closer to our location because they treat you like they are doing you a favor for just being open.
Waterdog RV is a 90-minute round trip from our location and even with the distance I will continue to do business with this company and not those closer to our location.
I also want to point out that the service manager took the time to help us with our water heater problem and we were not charged for his time, now thats service well be back to do more business with gem of a company. - Charlie
A great RV dealership! Got a Rockwood 2511S Mini Lite. I've dealt with other RV dealerships over the years. These guys win hands down. The Predelivery inspection was impressive. It was put in the shop and they had taken the time to go over everyting carefully to make sure everything worked the way it should and to make sure there was no damage in freight and was cleaned up. I was impressed with the thoroughness of the inspection. I can assure you, not all dealers PDIs are all that great. Mike was was very efficient and thorough during our walk through showing where everything was and how they worked. He was also very quick and efficient at installing the new hitch and equalizers and showing me how to install and uninstall them. Friendly as well. Thank You mike! Sherri was very helpful in fully and satisfactorily and happily answering all my questions and importantly, friendly. I enjoyed working with her. Thank You Sherri! And then there was Raul. While doing the paper work we just shot the breeze on a few topics. Made me feel quite comfortable and also made made me feel as though it didn't hurt quite so much when I paid cash. Thank You Raul! I tried Lazy Days and other RV dealers around Portland and felt like I was annoying them. Went to Waterdog and it was a whole different world. Tom was super professional, yet comfortable to talk to. He listened to me and what I was searching for and led me right to the models that fit my criteria. He was very knowledgeable about all the rv's. Raul was awesome at getting everything lined out and making sure that the whole experience was easy and fun!! The service department bent over backwards to get my truck ready and other little items for my new RV. They made Jax feel comfortable and that was huge to me!!
